To trigger and action when users selects a button, add the ActionScript code to your Timeline. Simple put the ActionScript code inside the buttons frames. There are pre written code Snippets panel ActionScript 3.0 code for the common uses. Add interactivity with code snippets.
Note that ActionScript 2.0 isn’t compatible with ActionScript 3.0.Always make sure you have the same version or that the version you are pasting the ActionScript from is compatible with your current version.
