I second this! Not a big fan of the 2012 olympic logo.

I am also not so much impressed by the logo of OLYMPIC 2012
logo of RIO OLYMPIC 2016 is much much better:)

Somehow you need to get used to it, so I kinda like it. What's nice is that they designed also the font in this style.

This logo created by BBC web site reader Richard Voysey has been chosen as the readers' favorite in an online poll.

The logo that was approved is not really bad, but has a touch of amateurism.
However 2012 Olympics was a real success.

Here in the UK people were outraged when this logo was unveiled. Everyone seemed to hate it and it cost $625,000. Seen better get eliminated in $300 contests!

I dislike the official logo. There is a spoof logo where with the right yellow and red coloring, it looks like Lisa Simpson giving oral sex to Bart Simpson. Then again.... maybe that is what the designer started off with as his inspiration.
