Glad to Join

Hi - I am glad to try a new community of designers. I look forward to sharing ideas and learning here.

I have been doing design work for over 20 years as part of my primary business which is printing on promotional merchandise. (shirts, mugs, pens etc) I am sensitive to the requirements for these items and try to design considering the limits of the media I usually work with. However with the advent of the internet and more use of gradients and process color in design, it is evident that the industry has to be flexible and many designs need multiple versions that work for the client while keeping the integrity of the look and feel.

I think I am addicted to exploring different design elements and styles. You will see I find inspiration in various places and try all types of techniques. Adobe Illustrator is my preferred program. AND I am always open to learning more design tips!
