Hi,
Time is important for designers so they can organize their priorities,
so why not put time left: in the upper menu (contest item) besides the contest name.
This would be great.

the time remaining is listed on all contests, look on the browse contest list you see time remaining All Contests List and on the contest page itself right under the title!
